The holidays of 2018 were a lovely time for reflection, visits from family and friends, and talk of plans for the year ahead. Unfortunately, also for WAY too many treats! But that’s what the holidays mean to my family and the “Holiday Five” (extra pounds) will come off quite easily once I get back into my routine.
I hope your holidays were a delight as well, and if you gained that extra five, please don’t fret about it, just get back to eating healthy and exercising, and it will gradually come back off.
Or, perhaps you’d like to try a 30 day “no sugar” challenge? I’m thinking of jumping into one myself and would welcome the company… 30 days flies by so fast that we’ll be back to our pre-holiday weight in no time. BONUS, we’ll also feel better than we did pre-holiday, and have a great start on making 2019 the year we actually keep our healthy New Year resolutions!
Removing sugar from our diets for 30 days also gives us a chance to take inventory of just how much sugar we eat on a regular basis, and perhaps make some simple changes to our diets that will allow any inflammation we’ve accumulated to leave our body as well. Remember, that inflammation can be the cause of fatigue, headaches, lack of energy, and much more.
But, here’s something to think hard about when setting your new goals. I’m sure that you’ve heard the saying “Insanity is continuing to do the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” Well, let me ask you an important question at the start of this new year. What will you do differently in 2019 to make sure that you succeed at your health goals?
Would you like to learn how to reframe your goals, in a completely different way, so that your brain doesn’t recognize that they’re the same old goals and automatically steer you down the same unsuccessful path again this year?
Would you like to learn some simple and easy techniques to stimulate your senses when you start down a new pathway toward that goal, so that your brain will want to take this new, successful route to achieve your goal? I can teach you that!
If you’re truly committed to your own health and well-being, commit to study Neuroplasticity with me for 30 days. Thirty days will fly by, and it’s worth the time and effort to learn new ways to achieve your goals that can be used again and again for the rest of your life, to succeed at anything you wish to try!
Sign up now for my course, “A New Season, A New You!,” and learn how to set yourself up for success in a BIG way! We’ll be starting on Jan 7th, so don’t wait – get your spot now!
Meanwhile, if you spent too much time listening to uncle Harry’s fish stories and are feeling a bit stressed, or maybe your blood pressure is a bit high after all the holiday excitement, here’s a video to help you get back to normal in under five minutes!
