Next week is Thanksgiving already!
The other day, I was thinking about how some of my recipes have changed over the years. I have always loved pumpkin pie, but for several years I have been cow dairy free, and more recently, gluten free as well. I still get to eat my pumpkin pie, and I find this new recipe delicious, but some of my family members do not.
My recipe is made with coconut milk instead of cow’s milk and a graham cracker crust made with my favorite gluten free graham crackers.
What is your favorite Thanksgiving recipe? Is it a healthy “guilt free” one or an old-fashioned sugary treat? (Most of my mother’s recipes include more sugar than I like to use these days.)
I know how difficult it is to avoid the “Holiday 5.” This is not an easy time for anyone who is trying to lose weight. BUT what if you simply did your best and vowed not to worry about a few extra pounds because you’ll make an extra effort to lose them after the holidays? It’s a good plan, and a way to enjoy your favorite holiday foods more fully. When we take the time to savor our food, it makes it easier to have only one piece of pie, too, and we lose the guilt in the process!
I’d like to help you with this plan so I’m offering a Holiday Special on my personalized weight loss coaching. It’s a “buy one, get another month half off”! And you don’t even have to wait until Black Friday!!
I guarantee that I’ll hold you accountable for keeping that vow to lose your holiday weight gain. My personalized coaching provides you with the tools that you need to take the weight off and KEEP it off!
But don’t take my word for it – here’s what others have said about my coaching program:
- “Thank you, Kathi, for helping me learn to love myself again, and to let go of all that childhood guilt!” — Amy
- “I was so confused about food – what is healthy, when to eat, how much protein to eat, etc. Kathi showed me how to make a healthy meal plan for ME! I feel so much better, my clothes fit better, inflammation has left my body, and I sleep better, too. I highly recommend Kathi’s programs!” – Pam
- “What Kathi does brilliantly, is to close the gap between where you are and where you want to be. And she can help you with that because… she’s patient, kind, and knowledgeable. She’s really put in the time to understand how to help people get healthier in a way that’s do-able for them.” – Maryellen
Isn’t it your turn?
And, here’s another video on how to safely build some muscle – this time we’ll do my simple crunch!
Best of Health,
Kathi
