It’s HERE! Age With Grace And Strength is available on Amazon starting today!!!!!
I’m so excited!
Join me live on Facebook at noon today, where I’ll be talking about the book, the bonuses, and answering all of your questions about aging well.
I am absolutely committed to helping people realize that staying healthy and strong as we age isn’t as difficult as many people believe. It does not require many hours of time out of our busy schedules, nor does it require starving ourselves!
I know there is an abundance of information online about aging well – some of it conflicting, and basically, overwhelming. So, how do you know what really works?
Being the research geek that you all know I am, I have done the deep dive for you. I’ve sorted through the mumbo jumbo, tested strategies, and uncovered what truly works and what doesn’t. I admit, I was a little bit surprised to find that so many diseases which medical science refers to as age related, require the same, simple lifestyle adjustments. AND, they do not need to be done all at once, so you can ease into them!
Want to see the research? I’ve included references in the book, so you can explore the studies for yourself.
Readers are already calling Age With Grace And Strength “a roadmap to healthy aging, offering simple, actionable steps to reduce chronic illness risks, alleviate joint pain, lower stress, and enjoy the joys of aging!”
To avoid becoming frail and maintaining our strength as we age, we need to focus on:
- Building strong thigh, abdominal, and butt muscles.
- Improving or maintaining our balance and stability.
- Practicing mindfulness techniques to reduce those stress hormones.
- Checking the ingredient labels (not just calorie counts) of the food we purchase.
The best thing is that we can integrate some of these into our already existing daily routines. For example, while brushing your teeth, you can work on balance and stability. That’s twice a day dedicated to aging strong without taking time away from anything or anyone else!
Neuroplasticity is a relatively new science that has shown how malleable our brains remain as we age. This means that when we create new habits like combining toothbrushing with balance exercises, it not only improves our stability, but it’s also forming new brain synapses, which helps us fight the dementia demon!
And, when you keep up this new process for 30 days or more, it becomes a habit so you don’t even need to think about it anymore!
See how easy it can be?
Today I’m sharing another type of squat that you may like in the video below. It’s one of my favorites, and I can do it while talking on the phone (with phone on speaker) or if I’m reading something on my computer.
Enjoy!
Hope to see you on Facebook this afternoon!
