How does this work, you ask? (I can hear you…)
Picture a muddy dirt road in springtime. If you try to travel that road after a couple of pickup trucks have been down it, you’ll see the mud tracks that the pickups made. These deep tracks will pull your car into them and the car just goes along in those tracks. You can’t make your own way, no matter how you try. Those tracks pull you in and force you to follow along. You are not in control of the steering.

Here’s what’s included in your 8 Modules:
- Module one: Foundations – Take it SLOW and get to know how YOUR brain works.
Introducing analogies that will change how you relate to your thinking forever. Looking at all your old brain pathways and how they relate to current behaviors, how they are preventing success in your weight loss or other fitness goals, and what you can do to change those pathways.
In this module we get clear on our goal, and learn how to set ourselves up for success!
- Module two: Negative consequences of our words and how to choose those words wisely.
Even though we want something to change in our lives, we may be using the same words we’ve used before and were not successful. In this module, we learn how to rephrase our goal, and why that’s necessary, so that we rewire our brain to achieve those hard to reach goals. Words Matter!
- Module Three: Stop, Drop and Roll – the power of simple phrases to stop that WICKED INNER VOICE
Here we go in depth into the idea of the pause. What it really means, and how to use that pause to our advantage. We all have that “inner voice” that triggers old patterns and behaviors, and has been doing so since childhood. I call her WICKED (as in witch of the west). Imagine the deep pathways she has made in our brains after all these years. Now you are learning how to change those pathways and make new ones that lead in the direction your own inner guidance wants you to go in. You’ll learn tools to help you “capture” that single moment- one breath – before reacting to any unexpected events, or old triggers, and then use that moment to change how you respond. This is powerful, and more simple than you think!
- Module 4: Willpower has NOTHING TO DO with why you can’t meet your health goals and achieve success! – Nike Got It Wrong! ‘Just Do It” does NOT work for Women over 50.
Here we begin to use simple, practical tools rooted in ancient practices, which you can use to change the way you feel. Our emotions affect our brain pathways, and now we begin to use positive emotions to help us make our new pathways stronger and deeper.
- Module five: Tools to change the way you think about using new brain science for simple tasks like enjoying your food, emotional responses to food, and joyful activities that build lean muscle. (Lean muscle burns twelve times as many calories as fat)
This module we’ll work with EFT (tapping) and learn how to use this amazing tool to rewire our brains for longer lasting results.
- Module six: Breather, grasshopper, breathe…
Introducing 3 key tools you can use every day to help bring you back to a place of calm and non reaction quickly. Piggybacking these practices onto a ritual or habit that you do every day will be a big part of your success, and we’ll dive right into those many possibilities. Think – brushing your teeth, combing your hair, showering, getting dressed, etc.
- Module 7: “Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself.” Tony Robins
This is a difficult module for many so, put your big girl pants on and open your mind to possibilities! We’ll be working with my top two forgiveness practices here. These are powerful rituals that can change the way you think about yourself and the life you want to live. Changing your perspective on an old injury or hurt is powerful!
- Module 8: Exercises, rest and food for your brain
Science has shown that social connections help nurture our minds and keep our brains healthier. We need to be both physically active and socially connected for brain health. This module is a discussion of the top ways to do that without taking time away from your busy lives, or away from family, etc. It’s easier than you think!

The course will begin on Monday May 17th with a four hour session from 4 – 8 pm EST. We’ll cover modules 1,2,3 which will get you all set up with a specific, personalized, achievable, and optimally worded goal!
Note – this session will not be available in video form for those who miss it. Your presence is required for the first session in order for the group to coalesce. Trust is built, confidentiality is discussed, and we tackle tools that will set us up for the remainder of the training. Please make sure you clear your calendar for this day and time.
Thereafter, we’ll meet from 4 to 5:30 pm EST, for the next five Mondays.
Each week you’ll leave our sessions with a clear understanding of the tools you’ll be practicing during the week.
